Sharon Fair
Sharon Fair is a PT and possesses of Master of Science in Education (Exercise Science), a Psychology Doctorate (Psy.D.), and a Ph.D. in Education (emphasis in the role of PT in wellness and online education). Dr. Fair's expertise is in wellness, online education, and home health physical therapy. Currently, Dr. Fair teaches the entry-level courses: Wellness and Prevention for OTs & PTs; Professional Communication (4th term PTs); the Psychological and Ethical Aspects of PT (4th term PTs); and Administration & Management in OT & PT and Dr. Fair has also developed the post-professional online courses Applied Performance Psychology (APP), Professional Communication (PC), and Psychology of Health & Exercise (PHE); and currently instructs APP and PC. Currently, Dr. Fair is investigating the effects of aerobic strength
training on body composition, basal metabolsim, VO2 max, and strength;
the prevalence and depth of wellness education in entry-level and post-entry
level PT curricula; and how to utilize online education to enhance the
wellness expertise of PT students and PTs. She is also assisting in research
that is investigating factors that predict success on the National Physical
