I Need Help with the File Library Documents.

The File Library contains supplimentary documents and papers to help you in your course. It is accessed through your course menu and the documents are saved in Adobe Reader (formerly called Adobe Acrobat) format so you'll need that software to open them.

How to download documents from the File Library.
This shows you how to take a document from your course's File Library and download a copy to your computer.

Log into your course.

1. Click on File Library in the menu.

2. Click on File Library in red text.

3. Pick the article you want to download and click on its Download button.

A popup will appear. Right-click on the text "Click here to download file".
If this does not appear, a popup blocker is probably interfering.
Left-click on "Save Target As (or Save Link As for FireFox)."
Choose a destination for your file. I like the Desktop because it's easy to find later. Click on the Save button and the file will download to your computer.
When the download finishes, close the popup box and double-click on your saved file to open it.

.Most of our File Library documents are in Adobe Acrobat format and most are password-protected.

See the "Articles" section of your course Syllabus for the password that you'll need to open the documents (usually on pg 2 or 3).

If you don't have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, please click here for more help.
